Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II - Weekend Days to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician II - Day Shift
**Location:** Vancouver, WA
**Pay Range:** $33.61 to $35.00 plus $1 shift differential
**Shift:** Monday - Wednesday and every other Thursday 5:00am - 5:00pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
+ Assist and direct team members to ensure all scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs are completed effectively.
+ Interpret and enforce company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
+ Provide direction to external contractors/vendors performing building maintenance as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
+ Knowledge of PLCs, process control systems, and mechanical systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and sketches.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
