Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician II to join our facilities and maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability of our production equipment through advanced troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Individuals are expected to operate with a high degree of independence, handling complex mechanical and electrical systems while assisting in the mentorship of the team. This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs on mechanical components such as gearboxes, drive chains, sprockets, bearings, and conveyor systems.
Perform repairs on electrical circuits, motors, sensors, and basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) components.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to isolate faults while troubleshooting.Determine root cause of failures and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Communicate and document preventative/corrective actions through a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Execute scheduled preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of machinery and equipment.Maintain accurate records of work orders and parts usage within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Communicate regularly with internal customers regarding machinery and equipment status.Advise leadership of need for outside services and work with service representatives on equipment, repairs, and installation.Ability to make day-to-day work-related decisions and set priorities to allow production to meet customer demand.Ability to use various material handling equipment such as overhead hoists/cranes and fork/hand trucks. Adhere to all OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety protocols.

Mobility within the work facility.Ability to stand/walk 8-12 hours.Ability to bend, lift, reach, and turn throughout the shift.Ability to lift, move, and/or pull 50+lbs repeatably throughout the shift.Ability to climb stairs, use fork truck and/or other powered industrial vehicles (PIV’s).Ability to work at heights.Manual dexterity, specific to handling small parts with fine motor skills.Sensory abilities, specific to visual accuracy (ability to read small print), auditory diagnosis (hearing machine noises), and tactile feedback (feeling for heat/vibration).
