Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment, directly impacting customer satisfaction and profitability. The position requires forklift certification and involves physical demands necessitating the use of correct lifting techniques and safe work practices.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and prioritize work orders from the Maintenance Supervisor.Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.Maintain and repair all production equipment.Troubleshoot production equipment using PLC.Edit programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment and to control conveyors or stacking machinery.Change motors and read electrical schematics.Install and repair plumbing, splice conveyor belts, and rebuild gear boxes.Perform pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.Install or move machines and repair hot melt units.Complete general electrical and mechanical repairs, as well as building maintenance repairs.Comply with company policies and procedures, and report any deviations.Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Participate actively in process improvements using quality systems.Follow and support the LOTO program.Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Essential Skills7 years of relevant work experience.High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience in electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting.Ability to evaluate design flaws and implement corrective actions.Knowledge in robotic/CNC systems and support for electronic interfaces.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to develop operating and maintenance manuals.Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.Basic math and engineering skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsWorking knowledge of department safety, quality, and operational procedures.Ability to develop preventative maintenance requirements and schedules.Ability to support design or modification of equipment or fixtures.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
