**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment, including conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, and freezers. This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action, ensuring systems are operational, safe, and efficient.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment components.
+ Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, advising when additional work is needed.
+ Manage multiple priorities and perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
+ Work under limited supervision and maintain a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
+ Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
+ Install, adjust, and repair packaging equipment to optimize performance.
+ Troubleshoot and analyze problems with machines and systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
+ Mechanical and hydraulic systems maintenance.
+ Proficient in preventive maintenance techniques.
+ Strong skills in pneumatics and welding fabrication.
+ Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems and control systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Two years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs on industrial food manufacturing equipment.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
+ Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

**Work Environment**
This position involves working in a food manufacturing setting, with shifts starting between 1-5 pm and lasting 10-12 hours. The work environment requires adherence to safety standards and may include flexible scheduling to support facility needs.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
