Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is entrusted with the critical task of monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, and freezers. The role requires responding promptly to system failures by taking corrective action to ensure systems are operational, functioning safely, and efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance inspections (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including conveyors, pumps, mixers, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, freezers, compressors, and building equipment.Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, advising if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).Multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.Conduct service calls for emergency breakdowns.Perform tasks under limited supervision.Maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, to support the operating schedule and facility needs.Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work according to established safety procedures.Install, adjust, and repair packaging equipment to achieve optimal performance according to specifications.Troubleshoot and analyze problems with machines and systems.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMechanical maintenanceHydraulics and pneumatics repairPreventive maintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications2 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs on industrial food manufacturing equipment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Proficiency in welding and fabrication.Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems.Knowledge of electrical control systems.Must be at least 18 years of age.Legally eligible to work in the United States.Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.Why Work Here?
