Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) $24+HR
**Job Title: Entry Level Maintenance Technician | 1st Shift | $24+HR** Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating winding machines and equipment based on coil size, copper tubing specifications, number of turns, and design requirements. You will read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and technical drawings, and use various hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, sanders, levels, squares, and wrenches. Additionally, you will braze copper to copper and copper to brass using oxy-acetylene torch techniques, TIG weld stainless steel components as needed, and operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely to transport materials and completed coils. You will also perform testing and final assembly of melting furnaces using prefabricated parts and hydraulic systems, while following all housekeeping and safety procedures in accordance with company standards. Availability for overtime or Saturday half-days may be required. Essential Skills + 1+ years of experience in coil assembly, repair, or copper winding preferred. + Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and bills of material. + Familiarity with hand tools and power tools in an industrial environment. + Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. + Basic math skills, including the ability to convert between standard and metric units. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a moderately loud factory setting.
