Position Overview:
We have an opportunity for you to join our production team as a Maintenance Technician at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. Each member of our team plays a critical role in BWXT Canada's sucess and in ensuring we meet our customers' quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Our Maintenance Technicians build, inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment in support of manufacturing activities and components.

Your Day to Day as a Maintenance Technician:
Required Qualifications:
Certificate of Qualification in Industrial Mechanic and Industrial Electrician. Level One (Gas Technician GT-1) is preferred but not required. Proven commitment to workplace safety. Must have knowledge of plant safety policies and procedures. Requires standing, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This includes above and below shoulder level. Basic Computer Skills - MS Office components and Adobe Acrobat Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS] Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot various type of industrial equipment from basic to complex. Ability to read equipment blueprints/schematics. The ability to safely operate power / hand tools and all related safety equipment.
