**Maintenance Technician, Direct Hire, Medical Industry** + **_Grand Rapids_** + **_$28-32+/hour_** + **_3rd Shift_** **Job Description** This role is based in a temperature-controlled job shop machining center for the medical industry. The shift is from Sunday to Thursday, 8 PM to 6 AM, allowing you to work with complex parts in a precise and detail-oriented environment. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to ensure minimal machine downtime. The role also includes facility maintenance and inventory management of supplies and equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks on **CNC mills, lathes** , and other assigned equipment. + Conduct unscheduled maintenance to minimize machine downtime and assist in diagnosing equipment issues. + Carry out facility maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. + Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. + Perform data collection and communication tasks related to maintenance activities. + Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and materials within the facility. + Adhere to 5S organization and housekeeping standards in all tasks and workstations. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician specifically on CNC Machines. + Proficient in troubleshooting CNC machines. + Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting on mills, lathes, and grinders. + Ability to read blueprints of CNC equipment. + Knowledge of electrical testing including ladder logic, calculating wattage and resistance, and identifying symbols on electrical diagrams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Facility maintenance experience. + Skill in PLC troubleshooting. + Understanding of how to wire a transformer. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a temperature-controlled job shop machining center serving the medical industry.
