Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting abilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with metal‑working machinery, CNC equipment, and machine‑shop systems. This role requires a problem‑solver with excellent communication skills who can work effectively as part of a team.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on metal‑working machinery, CNC machines, and machine‑shop equipment.Diagnose and repair issues using PLC controls, including Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.Work with DC controls and AC systems ranging from 24V to 480V.Perform basic wiring and motor control circuit troubleshooting.Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Utilize strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to minimize equipment downtime.Complete work orders, document repairs, and use required computer‑based systems for reporting.Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across departments.Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of maintenance experience, including:1+ year of PLC experienceHands‑on work with metal‑working, CNC, or machine‑shop equipmentExperience with Allen Bradley and Siemens controlsGeneral knowledge of:DC controlsAC 24V–480VBasic wiringMotor control circuitsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematicsStrong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulicsComputer skills requiredExcellent teamwork and communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred SkillsPLC troubleshootingMechanical and electrical repairHydraulics & pneumaticsReading schematics and blueprintsMaintenance repair in industrial environmentsEngineering or security systems experience (a plus)Experience Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
