**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** + We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician, specializing in electrical troubleshooting + You will be working in a food and beverage environment, particularly in areas where hummus and salsa are produced and stored in refrigerated conditions + The role requires proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, particularly with voltmeters and PLCs **Job Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters to identify and resolve low voltage problems (110V / 24V) and faulty sensors + Conduct basic PLC troubleshooting to find faulty sensors and assist controls engineers with remote machinery troubleshooting + Perform mechanical troubleshooting on conveyors, including motors, valves, and hoses + Carry out preventive maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment such as filling machines and mixers + Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards by wearing appropriate PPE when working in food areas **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting with voltmeters + PLC troubleshooting with a laptop, familiar with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell systems + Mechanical troubleshooting on conveyors + Experience with low voltage sensors, prox switches, and troubleshooting 3-phase motors **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Ferndale, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $74880.00/yr. 1st day of the month following the date of hire Medical, Dental, Vision STD / LTD HSA/FSA PTO eligible (1 week for 1st year) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Ferndale,MI. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 28, 2026. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
