Join our maintenance group as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of industrial production machinery. This role involves performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on automated machinery, including waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells.

ResponsibilitiesConduct preventive maintenance and answer down machine calls.Perform repairs on nonperforming machines.Handle electrical or hydraulic repairs to components.Maintain equipment such as waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells.Essential SkillsProficiency in hydraulic repair and rebuilding of pumps, cylinders/rams, and lines.At least 4 years of recent experience in machine repair.Capability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues independently.Ability to work 10+ hour shifts and weekends.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stamping or injection molding.Welding skills.Tooling experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that produces carpeted products for the automotive industry. The facility includes 10-12 stamping cells with hydraulic and mechanical repair needs. Work on a 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, with frequent Saturday shifts. Dress code includes jeans or work pants, a provided work shirt, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses. The team shares the workload across three shifts, promoting a balanced approach to preventive maintenance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
