Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift, working from 11 PM to 7 AM, including Saturdays. This role involves troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Every candidate will train on the 1st shift for 60-90 days.

ResponsibilitiesWork with operators to diagnose equipment problems.Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.Read blueprints and schematics.Use appropriate testing devices for troubleshooting.Dismantle machines and rebuild them.Clean, lubricate, or adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments.Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment (480v 3-phase).Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts or fabricate new parts.Test performance of machinery after repairs.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment/machinery.Use chemical solutions to clean or repair machinery and equipment.Remove hardened material from machines using abrasives, power and hand tools.Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.Essential Skills3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.Mechanical troubleshooting (pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors).Pneumatics knowledge.Electrical troubleshooting (3 phase - 220v & 480v, checking fuses & contactors, lockout & tagout).Reading industrial blueprints and schematics.CMMS experience.High school diploma or GED required.Additional Skills & QualificationsPLC troubleshooting, VFD, sensor repair experience.Experience with rubber processing equipment (extruders, batch mixers, Banbury mixers, etc.).Welding and fabrication skills.Technical school certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a very dusty environment due to the nature of the products, with varied temperatures and humidity. Personal protective equipment, including N-95 masks, is required in some plant locations.
