Maintenance Technician

Location: Portland, OR

Pay: $30 - $32 / HR

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness.Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devicesDevelop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories.Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation.Support daily/weekly asset usageAssist in daily/weekly training warehouse personnelAssist with special projects as directed by managementContinuously seeking to improve upon existing methods of operation, by research and development.

Qualifications:

Experience in production or high volume distribution settings is a plus. Experience with conveyor systems, high-volume washers/dryers/air tumblers etc.

Environment / Shift:

Warehouse environment. RPCs are recieved, unloaded and sorted, sanitized/washed and QC'd, restacked and prepped for shipment. Maintenace team oversees facilities and mechanical maintenance2nd Shift: 12:30pm-9pm, Monday to Thursday3rd Shift: 9:30pm-6am, Monday to Thursday. Will start Sunday night at 8:30pm to make sure the machine is ready.
