Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a high-speed converting facility specializing in corrugated boxes, where you will be instrumental in maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed converting equipment. In this fast-paced, just-in-time environment, you will ensure minimal downtime by effectively resolving issues from screen to fault.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed converting equipment, including Specialty Folders, Compression Tables, and Die Cutters.Ensure all equipment is operational, minimizing downtime.Perform 80% reactive and 20% preventive maintenance.Handle troubleshooting tasks related to pneumatics, pumps, motors, ink systems, gear systems, drives, calibrations, rollers, conveyors, strappers, and changing belts.

Essential Skills

Experience in the corrugated industry.Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts.Knowledge of motors and drives.Understanding of gear systems, pulleys, and mechanics.Proficiency in pneumatics.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with 10-hour shifts daily. The facility operates 24 hours a day, five days a week. Available shifts include Day shifts from 7am-5pm or 9am-7pm, and Night shifts from 10pm-7am Monday-Friday, or 7pm-5am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
