Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery.Analyze and maintain systems and equipment in the plant.Complete preventative maintenance tasks on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.Reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specs, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions.

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance.Ability to read schematics and blueprints.Proficiency in industrial and electrical troubleshooting.Experience in machine repair and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment.Mechanical comprehension and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and motors.Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement.Preferred experience in PLC diagnostics.Knowledge of process equipment control for troubleshooting and installations.Field service knowledge including photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, reed sensors, etc.Electromechanical troubleshooting skills including controls, components, and control wiring diagnosis.Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Plainfield, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
