Job Description
Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service with basic efficiency. They may also handle warranty and non-warranty repairs to damaged products, performing duties under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and Leads.
Responsibilities
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using measuring instruments.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools and other equipment.Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and anticipating needs.Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.Ensure continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Essential Skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
