Maintenance Technician
**Maintenance Technician – On-Site** **About the Role:** Utilizes skills to performpreventive maintenance and corrective repair of building, systems, equipmentand grounds at our client locations, all within proximity of each other.Working under limited supervision, utilizes skills such as carpentry, painting,furniture assembly, locksmith, minor plumbing and electrical. **What You’ll Do:** · Comply with allapplicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to buildingoperations and work safety. · Reviews of allwork orders submitted. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repairand communicates with requestor. Orders necessary materials and supplies tocomplete all assigned tasks. Schedules vendors as needed · Performs dailyfacility tours, including auditing bathrooms, kitchens and conference rooms. Documentsfind and proactively recommend appropriate actions for repairs. Ensuringfacility is maintained to client specifications from an organizational andsafety perspective · Acts as a liaisonwith work being performed by outside contractors as needed. Contracted workincludes snowplowing, remodeling, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, food service,event and equipment setup and breakdown and cleaning. + Responds quickly to emergency situations,summoning additional assistance as needed. + Occasional weekend work. Support 3 rd party vendors completing contracted work + Travel to other local client locations. 20% + Performs other duties as assigned **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2 + years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Universal CFC certification preferred. Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Self-starter and being proactive are very important. **What You’ll Need:** + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2 + years of job-related experience. The minimum salary for the position is $55,000 annually [or $26.44 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
