Maintenance Technician – 2nd or 3rd Shift (Northlake, IL)

A leading global manufacturer with a long-standing presence in the Northlake area is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team on 2nd or 3rd shift. This facility operates high‑volume industrial equipment and values safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairsConduct preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipmentDiagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutionsRead and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsCollaborate with production teams to support operational goalsMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentationFollow all safety procedures and support a safe work environmentQualifications5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial machineryAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentWillingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and occasional overtimeWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for training and advancementStable, long‑term employment with a respected industry leader$35–$40 per hour, based on experienceJob Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
