Job Title: Maintenance Technician at Crayola Factory! (DIRECT HIRE)

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment, including processing and packaging machines, and plan and schedule tasks to align with production needs.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness.Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications.Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Essential Skills

Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret schematics and PLC controls.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including three-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes.

Work Environment

Join a family-oriented company culture with over 300 full-time and temporary employees spread out over multiple shifts. Enjoy a temperature-controlled environment with access to lockers and a cafeteria. Shift options include two 8-hour shifts from Sunday to Thursday (11:15 PM to 7:15 AM) and four 12-hour shifts (6 PM to 6 AM, 2-2-3 schedule) with no more than three consecutive shifts without at least two days off.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
