Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure they are in optimum operating condition. This involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance and responding to emergency breakdowns.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and repositioning components.Observe operations, vibrations, and noise levels to ensure equipment is functioning properly.Conduct emergency and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.Reference equipment manuals and technical literature for guidance.Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs, and installations.

Essential Skills

Electrical experience in swapping motors and troubleshooting.Experience with Frequency Drives (VFDs) and PLC troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, including German prints.Experience working with 480 volts.Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems, including boilers.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled and can be hot in the spring and summer, and cool in the fall and winter. The shift follows a 2-2-3 schedule.

The pay range for this position is $69000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
