Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of injection molds used in production. This position requires advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair.

Responsibilities

Work on and repair injection mold production equipment.Receive corrective work orders from planners and follow directions on necessary repairs for equipment that is down or needs work.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with injection molding equipment.Read blueprints and schematics to perform repairs independently.Mentor junior staff and collaborate with engineering to enhance mold operations efficiency.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.Competence in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.Experience in injection mold technology and manufacturing maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must possess basic hand tool knowledge and bring own tools; a toolbox is allowed.Specialty tools will be provided.Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.

Work Environment

The manufacturing environment is climate controlled, clean, and free from unpleasant odors. Safety glasses and vests are mandatory on the floor. Shifts include: 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am), with potential for extended hours.

The pay range for this position is $65520.00 - $68120.00/yr.
