Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform installation and maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment, including Extrusion Blow Molding machines, Stretch Blow Molding machines, Injection Molding machines, packaging systems, and automated palletizers. The role also involves general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot molding machines.Perform installation and mechanical/electrical layout of machines.Execute modifications and routine preventive maintenance.Independently troubleshoot and repair molding machines.Provide training and assistance to team members.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance.At least 1 year of troubleshooting experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Strong ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

Our facility is a highly regulated, temperature-controlled, and clean environment. Employees are required to wear hair nets, steel-toed boots, and ear plugs at all times. The work culture emphasizes teamwork and flexibility, with a 'get the job done' mentality. The position involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including training on days for up to 6 months before transitioning to the night shift. Dress code includes steel-toe boots, hair/beard nets, jeans, and a T-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
