**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform essential building maintenance tasks, including electrical work, basic plumbing, and machine upkeep. This role involves performing preventive maintenance on various equipment and machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. **Responsibilities** + Perform building maintenance tasks, including electrical work and basic plumbing such as toilets and sinks. + Assist with basic forklift operations in emergencies, including battery charging and fluid fills. + Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, including saw blade changes and repairing damaged saws and electrical connections. + Operate and maintain automated panel saws, upcut lumber chop saws, DeWalt miter saws, CNC machine routers, and air compressors. **Essential Skills** + Basic electrical knowledge, including 220 and 400v electric and three-phase systems. + Troubleshooting skills for maintenance and electrical issues. + Basic plumbing skills. + Experience with preventive maintenance and machine upkeep. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills preferred. + Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. + 1-2 years of minimal experience is acceptable; more experienced candidates are preferred for higher pay. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive and inclusive work environment that values learning and growth. The workspace is divided into several stations surrounded by lumber, requiring candidates to adapt to both hot and cold conditions. You will work both independently and in small teams, handling materials of varying weights, with team lifting available for heavier items. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
