This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled mechanical professional to work in a fast-paced, high-profile events environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering temporary mechanical services—including **water, waste, compressed air and gas** —to support live events and exhibitions. Working to tight deadlines, you’ll help ensure services are installed, tested, maintained and removed safely and efficiently for each event. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, test and remove temporary mains services (water, waste, compressed air and gas) for events and exhibitions + Work collaboratively with the Technical Events Team to meet challenging event timescales + Ensure all works are carried out in line with CBRE policies, procedures and site requirements + Adhere strictly to Health & Safety standards, including RAMS + Document completed tasks accurately using both paper-based and electronic systems + Monitor asset condition and report on required repairs or upgrades + Manage consumable materials efficiently to minimise waste + Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times + Support wider Technical Events Team activities as required **What We’re Looking For** + **NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing (essential)** + Awareness of additional mechanical services such as compressed air and gas + Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset + Highly organised, reliable and able to work under pressure + Confident using IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Commitment to high standards of Health & Safety + Forklift licence (desirable, not essential) **Why Join CBRE?** + Work at one of the UK’s largest and most exciting events venues + Gain exposure to a wide range of high-profile live events and exhibitions + Be part of a supportive, knowledgeable technical team + Ongoing training and development opportunities + A role that offers variety, challenge and career progression CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
