**Job Title: Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets.
+ Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Apply electrical knowledge of basic components.
+ Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
+ Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2+ years of experience with blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles.
+ 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
+ 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
**Additional (but not required) Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
+ 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based controls systems.
+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared for a physical environment where you may walk up to 10,000 steps a day and lift up to 49 lbs. Performance is tracked by data and numbers, but without micromanagement. Be open to working any 10-hour shift as positions are available across all shifts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.60 - $27.60/hr.
