**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. You will take ownership of functional process areas and contribute to the mentoring and training of less experienced staff.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct advanced troubleshooting of mechanical systems and sub-systems.
+ Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting of equipment.
+ Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
+ Take ownership of a functional process area, ensuring its efficiency and safety.
+ Mentor and train less experienced maintenance staff.
+ Adhere to all safety and food safety requirements, including PPE and LOTO, while promoting a safe work environment.
+ Provide feedback to the Planner regarding preventative maintenance tasks and schedules.
+ Perform daily facility walkthroughs and inspections.
+ Utilize CMMS to open/close work orders, schedule PMs, and create work orders to meet workflow and compliance KPIs.
+ Be available on-call for off-hour critical failures.
+ Develop and maintain good working relationships with all members of the organization.
+ Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area.
+ Operate powered industrial equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, and powered stackers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Deep knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
+ Strong problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with electrical tasks, including reading schematics and utilizing volt/ohm meter for 120, 240, 480VAC, and 24VDC.
+ Experience with water and filtration systems, pumps, and plumbing.
+ Expertise in preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Some HVAC/Hydronic experience preferred; certifications are a plus.
+ Welding experience preferred, including MIG, TIG, stick, aluminum, and stainless steel.

**Work Environment**
The Maintenance Technician 3 position requires working from Sunday to Thursday, 10 am to 6:30 pm, while the Maintenance Technician 2 position operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 6 am to 2:30 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucker, GA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
