**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will perform extensive preventative maintenance and conduct both minor and major repairs on buildings, production machinery, and facility equipment. Responsibilities include completing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures. **Responsibilities** + Inspect, service, and replace mechanical components including belts, filters, fluids, bearings, and seals. + Safely operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet. + Thread metal piping using a power hand threader and install, repair, and maintain Schedule 80 PVC and CPVC piping. + Perform light fabrication and welding using a wire feed welder. + Install and repair electrical wiring and equipment, troubleshoot control circuits, and replace faulty switches. + Repair refrigeration equipment and perform electrical diagnostics. + Assist with fire and safety systems including inspections, drills, and equipment verification. + Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests. + Maintain punctual attendance and a willingness to work overtime as required. + Perform other general maintenance duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + Hydraulics and pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + Industrial maintenance experience + General knowledge of building and mechanical equipment maintenance + Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and schematics + Forklift driving experience + Excellent written and oral communication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good organization skills and ability to multi-task + Good leadership skills with the ability to assess operational requirements and plan work schedules + Basic computer skills + 2-year technical school or associate degree + 5 years of experience in a similar role **Why Work Here?** Join a rapidly growing employee-owned manufacturing company with exciting growth opportunities and training available.
