Maintenance Technician

Our client, a paper converting plant is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting machine maintenance. The ideal candidate will have paper industry experience, strong mechanical skills and good attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:Maintenance Technician 3rd shift Monday thru Thursday 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.**
**Location:Lebanon, Indiana**
**Pay Range:$35-40/hour + 5-15 hours of OT each week**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Perform preventive maintenance as directed through the completion of periodic inspections of electrical systems and production equipment.
+ Act expeditiously when electrical system and equipment breakdown occur. This may include tracking down electrical short circuits or identifying problems with PLCs or other electrical components.
+ Responsible for providing mechanical support for all plant machinery.
+ Broad knowledge of industrial electrical systems used in commercial and industrial buildings.
+ Understand gear trains, shafts/journals, pulleys, and bearings.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Able to demonstrate the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and mechanical systems involving electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair or replacement, including blown fuses and tripped breakers.
+ Must be able to work Saturday's.
+ Knowledge of PLC Logic, and ability to read schematics and blueprints
+ Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to read and understand instructions.
