**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The maintenance technician will repair and maintain all equipment in the factory, as well as modify and install equipment as needed. The technician will report to the Maintenance Manager. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain all factory equipment. + Modify and install new equipment when necessary. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Troubleshoot issues with pumps, motors, and conveyors. + Log repairs and preventive maintenance using a computer. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Strong mechanical industrial experience, comprising 80% mechanical and 20% electrical. + Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a manufacturing environment for 3+ years. + Ability to troubleshoot issues with pumps, motors, and conveyors. + Experience with food manufacturing, HVAC, and fabrication. + Nice to have experience in the chocolate or food industry. + Possession of an electrical certification. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including up to 12 paid holidays, generous PTO, and your birthday off. The dress code includes wearing a smock, hairnet, beard net, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Robinson, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
