**Job Title: Maintenance Technician at Crayola Factory! (DIRECT HIRE)** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment, including processing and packaging machines, and plan and schedule tasks to align with production needs. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness. + Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime. + Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times. + Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications. + Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). **Essential Skills** + Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and PLC controls. + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including three-phase systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy free admission to the Crayola Experience for employees, community volunteerism opportunities, and annual bonus potential for all full-time employees.
