**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The position operates on a schedule from 11:00 PM to 8:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, and 11:00 PM to 4:30 AM on Fridays. Initial training will occur during the first shift. The technician will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, following all plant and safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. **Responsibilities** + Follow all plant and safety rules, GMP, and wear PPE at all times. + Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment. + Troubleshoot hydraulic systems. + Conduct various tasks including electrical, plumbing, and painting. + Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and other ancillary equipment. + Collaborate with other maintenance and production employees to troubleshoot problems. + Research, select, and order parts and supplies as necessary. + Work varying shifts, times, and weekends, and respond to possible emergency situations. + Perform all other work as deemed appropriate by management. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chains, and other power transmission systems. + Knowledge of safety practices within the maintenance field. + Proficiency in maintenance, mechanical, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and hydraulics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + The ability to stand, walk, and kneel on hard surfaces. + Capability to use hands and fingers to handle equipment. + Strong communication skills for interaction with personnel on the production floor. + Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values safety and professional growth.
