Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production equipment and machines. The role includes installing and repairing electrical components of industrial equipment and machinery, performing all preventive maintenance functions, and ensuring the maintenance of buildings and grounds.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production equipment and machines.Install and repair electrical components of industrial equipment and machinery.Perform all preventive maintenance functions to ensure optimal operation of machinery.Ensure maintenance of buildings and grounds.Read and troubleshoot equipment schematics effectively.Essential SkillsElectrical experience and ability to read schematics.Troubleshooting skills for machines and ability to understand schematics.Experience with mechanical systems, conveyors, and high-speed packaging equipment.Preventive maintenance expertise.Knowledge of pneumatics and ability to troubleshoot PLCs and automated equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience troubleshooting machines.Ability to work with PLCs and automated equipment is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates primarily during 1st shift hours from 5 am to 2 pm. Employees frequently work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The work environment includes high, precarious places and varying weather conditions. Occasionally, employees may experience wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The factory temperature ranges from 70°F in winter to 110°F in summer. Employees may encounter grease and oil and are expected to work mandatory or voluntary overtime, accommodating different shift structures as required. Tasks involve working on roasters, conveyors, sensors, palletizers/depalletizers, actuators, pneumatics, and PLCs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
