Job Responsibilities

Independently modify, repair, install, maintain, and improve various types of injection press and auxiliary equipmentDiagnose mechanical problems and provide innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying skills in mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, and metal workTroubleshoot electrical faults and perform control system analysis using PLC ladder logic diagramsMaintain plant equipment including air compressors, chillers, water towers, and fire systemsSupport effective line handover between shifts with proper documentation and briefingsConduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedules and standardsTrain others in equipment changeover and setup proceduresRecommend and implement solutions for routine and unique equipment problems, including fabrication or modification of componentsRespond to equipment issues in a timely and customer-oriented mannerSolve problems independently and develop new procedures for complex issuesMaintain high standards of organization and housekeepingIntegrate plant, quality, safety, and security policies into daily activitiesFollow maintenance, sanitation, and Environmental Health and Safety protocols at all timesDemonstrate a track record of excellent attendance

Essential Skills

10+ years of maintenance experience in a Tier 1 environment5 years of electrical troubleshooting on industrial machines5 years of hydraulic troubleshootingAbility to navigate PLC to identify issuesMechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skillsJob Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74817.60 - $74817.60/yr.
