Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position is a multi-craft maintenance role responsible for the maintenance and repair of over 30 CNC machining centers. The role requires 70% reactive maintenance and 30% preventive maintenance (PMs). The technician will work with various control software such as Mitsubishi, Unitronics, and Fanuc to troubleshoot and ensure peak efficiency of the machines.

Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic components, spindles, pallet changes, vacuums, band saws, relays, pumps, sensors, prox switches, and motors.Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Manage a project list with over 100 tasks when not conducting reactive maintenance.Ensure machines operate at peak efficiency to maximize product output.Replace hydraulic lines and understand the mechanics of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Swap out hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders and replace various types of bearings such as ball screws, radial bearings, ball bearings, and pillow block bearings.Troubleshoot servos and VFDs.

Essential Skills

Mechanical Troubleshooting - hydraulic/pneumatic systemsElectrical Troubleshooting - 3phase 480v systemsExperience with CNC maintenanceAbility to read prints/schematicsExperience working with a PM scheduleAbility to lift 50lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with various CNC control software such as Mitsubishi, Unitronics, and FanucVFD experience is a plusWorking knowledge of a 4-6 person maintenance team setup

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
