Responsibilities
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including:
Packaging and handling machinery
Plumbing systems
Kitchen equipment
Roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment
HVAC
Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes:
Ceiling tiles
Door hardware
Wallpaper
Paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades or cost-saving opportunities.
Possess competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and preventive maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems:
Fire alarm systems
Fire pumps
Related fire protection equipment
Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives; practice safe work habits.
Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, and building automation systems.
Complete all required C&W Safety Training annually.
Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code and maintain a neat appearance.

Experience
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting
Additional Qualifications
Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in one or more areas:
HVAC
Electrical
Mechanical
Process controls
Mechanical power transmissions
Painting
Plumbing
Carpentry
Engine repair
Valid driver’s license (commercial may be required) and good driving record.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
May work alone during certain shifts; may require overtime, shift work, or on-call duties.
Work Environment
Professional office environment using standard office equipment.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
