Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position involves performing preventative maintenance on building equipment. Looking for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment.Utilize hand and power tools effectively.Assist with basic plumbing and mechanical tasks.Work on ladders to service electrical components on hanging lights and sprinklers.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.Essential Skills
Experience with hand and power tools.Basic understanding of mechanical systems.Capability to perform troubleshooting and repairs.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good communication skills.Ability to read and write in English.Capability to stand for 8 hours straight.Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based in maintenance buildings that are not temperature-controlled, meaning it can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somers, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
