Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing and managing equipment installations, conducting repairs, and maintaining the facility and its equipment. This role requires a working knowledge of three-phase electrical systems in a manufacturing setting, including new installations, equipment repairs, machine troubleshooting, and electrical cable installation. Experience with PLCs and AC/DC motor drives is beneficial. **Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting to repair production machines. + Assist in large equipment installations and modifications. + Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment ranging from 24 volt DC up to 480 volt AC. + Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment. + Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices. + Replace and lubricate electric motor bearings and rewire motors. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety and Health rules as well as other governmental regulations. + Communicate status, progress, and schedules to all internal stakeholders. **Why Work Here?** Our organization is experiencing growth and offers a variety of diverse projects in a company culture that values security and stability. You will work alongside another technician, a master, and approximately 50 operators on the floor. Flexible shift options are available, including 1st shift. The environment supports collaboration and innovation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Sun Prairie, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
