Job Title: Molding Maintenance Technician
Pay: $24 - $28/hr + $1,000 sign on bonus + $1,500 attendance bonus
Shift: First (1st) shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Job Description
The Molding Maintenance Technician is responsible for complex mold maintenance. The role involves a wide range of tool room operations related to the maintenance, repair, and alteration of molds and injection molding equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform complex mold maintenance tasks.Utilize tool room equipment such as grinders and mills.Work with molds handling and fitting tight tolerance parts.Comprehend and interpret part and tool prints.Disassemble and assemble injection molds and perform general maintenance.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tooling problems on the production floor.Identify and implement tooling improvements.Engage in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for customer issues.Repair and rebuild injection molds by arranging for welding and rework, machining, polishing, and finishing.Fit and assemble parts and test completed molds for proper operation.Verify conformance of repaired injection molds to specifications.Operate cranes to remove and relocate molds.Provide general maintenance and cleanup of all tool room equipment.Participate and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to company policies and safety standards.Assist in implementing and managing all maintenance functions.Maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.Report potential concerns regarding food safety, legality, quality, or food defense.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with injection molding and machine maintenance.Ability to work on molds with tight tolerance parts.Proficiency in reading and understanding mold drawings.Strong troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics skills.Proficient in written and verbal communication.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves physical demands such as walking, handling objects, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The work environment may expose employees to high noise levels requiring hearing protection, and the use of safety glasses and gloves is necessary.
