Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the functionality of production machines and facility equipment through installation, troubleshooting, and repair. The role involves performing both emergency and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime, as well as conducting mechanical duties such as machining, welding, and using hand/power tools. The technician will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute maintenance tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency.Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs.Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status.Essential Skills
