**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing both reactive and preventive maintenance on machinery, focusing on hydraulic and pneumatic components of slitter and roll grinding machines. You will also engage in fabrication work, including welding parts or brackets to ensure proper repair. Comfort with 3-phase 480v motors and replacing sensors is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform reactive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic components of slitter and roll grinding machines. + Conduct fabrication work, including welding parts or brackets onto machines. + Work with 3-phase 480v motors and replace sensors as needed. + Execute preventive maintenance tasks, such as replacing motors and greasing bearings. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of experience with hydraulics. + 3 years of experience with pneumatics. + Experience with 3-phase 480v motors. + Proficiency in working with sensors. + Welding and fabrication skills. + Ability to read blueprints. + Capability to perform preventive maintenance tasks. + Steel-toed footwear. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous coil experience. + Understanding of PLCs. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that offers opportunities to work with advanced machinery and enhance your technical skills. The working hours are from 4 PM to 4 AM, following a 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off schedule. While night shifts are preferred, day shifts may be considered. You will need to bring your own basic set of tools and wear jeans with steel-toed footwear. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Carlisle, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
