Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production facilities, focusing primarily on supporting Ford and Stellantis production. This position involves working with both the molding and assembly sides of the plant, equipped with advanced technologies and robotics.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical troubleshooting and repair on plastic injection molding machines, including thermolators, water systems, and piping.Conduct electrical troubleshooting, including tracking and tracing, control panel diagnostics for 240V & 480V, and reading electrical drawings.Utilize computer systems to learn and apply preventive maintenance programs.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Engage in preventive maintenance, schematic reading, and blueprint analysis.Conduct PLC troubleshooting and collaborate with the Controls Engineer when necessary.Participate in welding, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and fabrication tasks.Utilize industrial maintenance techniques to ensure efficient production processes.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-4 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical systems on plastic injection machines.Proficiency in diagnosing issues with resin flow systems, thermolators, and water systems.Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical circuits using voltmeters and read electrical drawings.Comfortable with learning and utilizing preventive maintenance programs on computers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Sepro and Fanuc robotics for troubleshooting and maintenance.PLC troubleshooting experience, particularly with Siemens systems.Skills in welding, fabrication, and manual machining.Background in facilities maintenance, including plumbing and HVAC.Why Work Here?Be part of a large and rapidly growing company that offers a competitive pay scale. Work EnvironmentWork in a large, well-lit facility located off a major highway. The plant includes both assembly and plastic injection sides, equipped with 11 presses and multiple assembly lines featuring Fanuc robots. The facility operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 4pm to 2am, with potential for extended hours until production is complete.
