Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the teardown and rebuild of all manufacturing equipment. You will use hand and power tools to disassemble food manufacturing equipment for the sanitation team to clean. Once cleaned, you will rebuild the equipment back to specification, performing welding and fabricating tasks, and working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). **Responsibilities** + Tear down and rebuild manufacturing equipment. + Use hand and power tools for equipment disassembly. + Collaborate with the sanitation team to ensure equipment is cleaned. + Reassemble equipment according to specifications. + Perform welding and fabricating as needed. + Troubleshoot and maintain equipment using mechanical and electrical skills. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills including working with motors, pumps, and gears. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with VFD (Variable Frequency Drives). + Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills. + Electrical troubleshooting capabilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding or experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Experience with pneumatics. **Why Work Here?** Recognized multiple times as one of the 101 Best & Brightest companies to work for in West Michigan. The facility, although an old building, is clean, organized, and equipped with new machinery. The environment has colder temperatures throughout. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
