Job Description

We are seeking a Level 3 Maintenance Technician to join our team at a rubber injection facilityThis position involves working with hydraulic-driven presses to create flexible rubber products The role requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within an industrial setting

Job Responsibilities

Independently modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of injection press and auxiliary equipmentDiagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying skills in mechanics, fitting, plumbing, welding, metalwork, and troubleshootingAnalyze and troubleshoot electrical faults and failures using control system analysis and PLC ladder logic diagramsMaintain plant equipment, including air compressors, chillers, water towers, and fire systemsSupport timely and effective line handovers between shifts with proper documentation and accurate briefingsConduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedules and standardsTrain others in equipment changeover, setup, and takedownRecommend and implement solutions to routine and unique equipment problems, including fabricating or modifying components as neededRespond to equipment problems in a timely and customer-oriented mannerSolve problems independently and develop new procedures for non-routine and complex issuesMaintain high standards of organization and housekeepingIntegrate plant, quality, safety, and security policies into daily activitiesFollow all maintenance, sanitation, and Environmental Health and Safety protocolsDemonstrate a track record of excellent attendance

Essential Skills

10+ years of maintenance experience in a Tier 1 environment5 years of electrical troubleshooting on industrial machines5 years of hydraulic troubleshootingAbility to navigate PLC systems to identify issuesPossession of a toolboxJob Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74817.60 - $74817.60/yr.
