Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our innovative company that specializes in producing reusable furnace filters made from coconut fibers. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to address mechanical issues within our plant.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic components in the plant.Maintain and service equipment including choppers, grinders, ovens, paint mixers, and painting machines.Ensure the efficient operation of conveyor systems.Perform routine tasks such as motor changes, bearing replacements, and machine lubrication.Assist in other facility areas as needed, including loading trucks, sweeping, and packing boxes.

Essential Skills

Mechanical experience in hydraulics and pneumatics (minimum 6 months).Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.

This is a Permanent position based out of Michigan City, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $48000.00/yr.
