**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Join our team in DeWitt, Iowa, as a 1st shift Maintenance Technician. Be a part of a company that specializes in producing both imprinted and custom-printed products. **Responsibilities** + Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all plant equipment. + Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Assist in making improvement suggestions and justifications on all equipment, structure, and grounds. + Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments to improve efficiency while promoting and encouraging safety. + Organize and prioritize work to ensure production meets or exceeds deadlines. + Communicate effectively with vendors and source quality products and services. + Perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment and facility. + Work with minimal supervision. + Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. + Required to stand, sit, squat, bend, walk, lift, reach, and climb throughout the day. + Communicate thoroughly with production and office staff and vendors. + Read printed material and distinguish colors. + Operate forklift and powered hand jack. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance and repair skills. + Prefer 2 years of previous maintenance experience, ideally with printing or bindery equipment. + Basic knowledge of tools and building systems. + Basic computer skills. + Mechanical and electrical skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience preferred. + Ability to work independently and efficiently. **Why Work Here?** Experience a supportive work environment with a family-like atmosphere.
