**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description**
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for installing, wiring, and troubleshooting up to 480v motors and other electrical components. You will also work with PLCs, sensors, proximity switches, relays, and more to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, wire, and troubleshoot up to 480v motors and electrical components.
+ Work with PLCs, sensors, proximity switches, relays, etc.
+ Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve plant performance in Safety, Quality, and Reliability.
+ Assist in preventative/predictive maintenance on wire processing equipment, injection molding machines, and other plant equipment.
+ Conduct general repairs and swap outs of belts, hoses, o-rings, seals, lubrication, and filter changes.
+ Perform basic electrical repairs under supervision.
+ Assist with machine adjustments such as pressure and alignment for key components.
+ Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems under supervision.
+ Assist in maintenance projects to support production and safety initiatives.
+ Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
+ Understand and execute MRO/Storeroom processes and procedures.
+ Complete assigned work orders and respond promptly to production floor breakdowns.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance area.
+ Utilize maintenance systems to complete daily, weekly, and monthly duties.
+ Document work order information and completion.
+ Provide support to the maintenance excellence program and offer continuous improvement ideas.
+ Participate and actively support plant initiatives to minimize downtime and ensure plant optimization.
+ Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480v.
+ Strong knowledge of hand tools and testing equipment.
+ Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment (1-5 years).
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
+ Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Organizational and communication skills.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting, ladder logic, and Allen-Bradley systems.
+ Understanding of preventive maintenance, blueprints, industrial robotics, and 3-phase electrical systems.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
