Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Shift: 2nd (2:30 pm to 11 pm)
Job Description
This role is crucial for the upkeep and smooth operation of our industrial automated facility. The successful candidate will focus on mechanical and electrical maintenance, performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal functioning of automated machinery and facility systems.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment, including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting, and replacing belts, filters, and other components.Follow established preventative maintenance schedules weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annually.Conduct corrective and emergency maintenance as needed.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including pneumatics.Perform electrical maintenance on systems up to 480 volts, three-phase, including motors, sensors, and wiring.Maintain and repair facility equipment such as air compressors, boilers, steam tunnels, HVAC systems, and plumbing.Install and maintain industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, conveyor systems, and steam tunnels.Perform welding activities and boiler chemical testing, making necessary adjustments.Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of supplies.Identify and resolve safety concerns promptly.Monitor and evaluate work performed by internal and external service providers.Respond to emergency alarms and mentor junior maintenance technicians.Essential Skills
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience on automated machinery, including conveyors and material handling equipment.2+ years of performing industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting up to 480 volts, three-phase, with electrical motors and wiring.Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatics.Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food and beverage or warehouse/distribution maintenance is nice to have.HVAC experience and plumbing skills.Boilers, steam systems, and HVAC knowledge.PLC troubleshooting skills.E-mate experience (computer software).Why Work Here?
