Our client, a leading organization in food processing operations, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the full plant department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Allenwood, PA
**Pay Range:** Competitive Salary based on experience
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment such as conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
+ Conduct repairs and inspections in compliance with FDA, USDA, and GMP standards to uphold food safety and quality.
+ Maintain and repair utility systems including air compressors, refrigeration, steam, and water systems.
+ Document maintenance activities accurately using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and assist in installing new equipment.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
+ Minimum 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
+ Solid understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
+ Experience with food-grade equipment, stainless steel piping, pumps, valves, and sanitary welding.
+ Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints, and work in cold, wet, or hot environments.
