Maintenance Technician – Intermediate Level

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to improving the performance and reliability of our production machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, and the ability to implement machine upgrades that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities:Enhance the plant’s preventative maintenance (PM) program for greater effectiveness and efficiency.Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment with urgency.Collaborate with engineering on major projects and machine overhauls.Improve machinery to reduce setup time and complexity, making equipment easier to operate.Respond to after-hours emergency calls for machine breakdowns.Support upgrades that enable machines to handle challenging production orders more efficiently.Required Skills:Electrical troubleshooting (including 3-phase systems)Mechanical diagnostics and repairHydraulics and pneumaticsReading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprintsPLC troubleshooting and ladder logic comprehensionWelding and fabricationPreventive maintenance executionElectro-mechanical systems understandingAdditional Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective leadership and organizational abilitiesTechnical degree (2 years) or 5+ years of experience in an electrical/mechanical roleExperience in machine modifications and rebuildsBasic computer proficiencyForklift operation experienceExperience Level:

Intermediate – Candidates should have hands-on experience and a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
