Maintenance Technician- $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 1st shift in Delaware, Ohio. The role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions, calibrating machines, reading technical manuals, maintaining safety protocols, and documenting all work performed. This position requires proficiency in troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical skills, particularly in systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.Calibrate machines and read technical manuals.Maintain and follow safety protocols.Document all work performed.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.Perform preventive maintenance and schedule tasks.Install and maintain machine components.Work with gearboxes, wiring, and running conduit.Handle machine installations and 480V/3-phase systems.

Essential Skills

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to read and work with schematics.Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.Experience with gearboxes, wiring, and conduit.Knowledge of machine installations and 480V/3-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Welding and fabrication skills.Experience with PLCs and robotics.Previous sign manufacturing experience is a plus.Experience in sanding, blasting, production, powder coating, auto body, and general labor.

Work Environment

Work in a standard manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled and can be loud, requiring earplugs for certain jobs. The facility operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an alternate schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, and 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
